Silk Scarves

Shibori dyeing is an ancient Japanese art, created by wrapping the silk around a pole, binding it with thread, dyeing, bleaching and overdyeing, to achieve layers of color and imagery. I combine shibori with a totally unique bamboo-resist method, developed in nearly 30 years of experimenting.
