Arts Educator
I am teaching at Kansas City Kansas Community College and recently taught Fiber at Park University in Parkville, Missouri. I work with senior citizens, young people, students with special needs and adults too. I feel that the arts are essential to a healthy culture. I love to teach it and watch people gain confidence and grow.
I am continuing to look for teaching and administrative ......and education fields. I have taught at the college level at the University of Michigan, University of Central Missouri, Park University and Kansas City Kansas Community College. From 2000-2010 I taught every summer at the Barstow School, working with grades 4-8 in weeklong art classes. I have worked with young people with special needs and offer a variety of classes for adults.
I have extensive arts administration, sales and customer service experience and was the Vice President and an active board member of the 500 member Missouri Artisans Association DBA The Best of Missouri Hands.
